Steve, I have 15 of the T875s in my S10 truck. It has a 9 inch ADC motor and 750 amp logisystem controller. I now have just shy of 500 cycles on these batteries (first set of them). That's 3 times the cycles I ever got with 12v batts, but I never tried Trojan or Crown12v.
That said, the T875s no longer take a full charge and so will need replacing soon. But my current charger only puts out 10 amps and that's noticeably less than the 17-20 amps that Trojan recommends. Have just got a new Elcon 2500 that will do 18 amps at 220v which hopefully will give me more cycle life. Btw like you my trips have been short. I rarely go over 15 miles (pretty flat) but did go 24 miles at least once. My best guess is that (when batts were newer) my max range would be 30 miles. Hope that helps.
