The 100Ah cells will not have a happy life no matter what the data sheet says.
The cold performance is worse than lead.
You need 200ah cells for a low voltage pack.

I don't remember costs per AH back then, but I remember that it was going
to be about $12 to $15k for a 96 volt 180AH bank back when it priced it out
(it might have been more like 2008, I seem to remember Thundersky being
mostly what was available and lots of discussion on whether they actually
performed per specs, and talk of group buys and all), and now it's more
like $7.5k for an in stock CALB bank, plus BMS of course, around $0.71/AH.

Yes, somewhere in that timeframe there was a huge drop in price,
probably because Sky Energy (now CALB) entered the market and Thundersky
had some competition. Back then I priced out a 108 volt pack for a Miata
from Thundersky and it came to $15k.

The last few years, though, the prices seem fairly stable at around
$1.25/AH although I think the cells keep getting better. In that way the
price is "dropping" because we pay the same but get a better pack. That
Miata pack used 180Ah cells mostly because I needed big cells to get the
amps I wanted. Today I would use a pack of CA100's instead. They'll do
the amps I need and only cost $4000 (and sacrifice range, of course).
