Dear Peri,

I am assuming this pedestrian was not beamed down onto the crossing and that, 
had you taken the trouble to look sooner, you might have seen them on the 
pavement about to step onto the crossing and adjusted your progress or made use 
of your horn if already too close as appropriate.  'Vision up!' as we in the 
driving game say here in the UK.

On your second point, I'm not quite sure what you expect Nissan to do about you 
problems.  They an't exactly recall all their Leafs and move the pillars.
