I watered batteries monthly, or close to it, in my Comuta-car. I also watered them pretty close to monthly in the Honda. There I had 96v charged by a blunderbuss Lestronic charger which finished at 8 amps. I wasn't adding gallons, but still I usually added a hydrometer bulb's worth or so to each cell. (I used the squeeze bulb and tube from a broken hydrometer.) Overcharged?
