About 1/2 of our Chargepoint stations around here (just north of San Francisco) are now $ to use. So are all of the evGo stations (there's one in the Whole Foods by me). I don't know how much they charge, but I remember it being more than I pay at home so I never use them.
There are still a few Chargepoint EVSE's that are free, but I suspect it's only a matter of time till they become pay to play. david. ----- Original Message ----- > From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Cc: > Sent: > Subject: [EVDL] Why all the excitement over Nissan's new plan to offer free > charging? > > People seem to be excited about Nissan's plan to offer free charging to LEAF > owners, but I've never seen a public charger that wasn't free to use. > Is free charging unique to the Raleigh/Durham NC area? > > Bill _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
