I find it interesting that many of the "Gotta have Regen!" notes are from people that basically admit they screwed up the brake system on their DC vehicles, and want Regen so they have an alternate system. Doesn't matter what kind of power system you have. Your Brake system MUST work! If it's broke. Fix it. Period. My truck has Power Brakes and needs vacuum. I have a GOOD vacuum pump, AND a large reservoir, AND a big DC-DC. (and I CAN stop the truck just fine without the power assist.)
