I was getting 25 miles out of about a kWh on my Organic Transit ELF, which
back up your estimate. That is 40kW/mile.  It has bodywork, and weighs
about 450lb with my in it and a bit of gear. TOp speed was an average of 24
mph for an hour - that is working hard at the pedals.  If I would slack off
on the pedalling it would drop down to between 22 and 23 mph. Show what the
125W of a human can do - not that much.  The ELF I use has a 750W motor.
