I saw a relatively cheap Leaf (IIRC $5700) offered for sale on Ebay that was a
"manufacturer buyback / lemon" and when I dug a little deeper, it showed that
in summer 2015 this Leaf was bought back by the Leaf dealer in SoCal for the
lack of battery capacity, so apparently there are failing Leaf packs that are
not upgraded...
For some reason this Leaf was for sale on the East coast however.

Subject: [EVDL] How to find the true state of a Leaf battery pack.

For some reason I can't find the archives.  So here is a question.  I'm under
the impression you can get into the Leaf system to determine battery state.
What tools do you need and has anyone gotten a new battery using this approach.
