While the owner stated they loved their Leaf EV for any years, I have experience having to let go of my conversion EV after 15 years of faithful service. It was not easy, but it too would have cost was too much to keep it serviceable &on the road. IMO, I suggest you follow the already posted advice: let go of your dead 2012 Leaf EV (donate it to a charity that will come pick it up for free - there are many of these). and then be on the look for a future replacement EV.
