I've been on this list on and off since I was in highschool and we had an EV racing team that was in its dying stages between 1998 and 2002. I later built my own conversion and this list was invaluable for the knowledge I gained for both of those parts of my life. Fast forward to today, I'm 42 and have gone for the easy button and just buy production EV's now myself. The information I personally find valuable is on how to repair common issues with those cars, which largely isn't here. Technology has obviously changed quite a lot all around. We have dedicated forums, social media groups and YouTube tutorials. I still do very much enjoy checking in on this list from time to time, mostly out of nostalgia admittedly. I'd love to see this list live on in some capacity, but at the same time sunsetting it would also be a completely rational choice. Either way, a big thank you to David and everyone who made it possible all those years regardless of what is chosen. I feel like the mission of the group has long since been accomplished to make EV's commonplace, even if they aren't our lovingly converted cars. Rick Suiter

Find a couple of questions for you to please answer / discuss below. But ... List traffic has been steadily declining since 2012 and the introduction of practical production EVs. In the last 6 months we've had about 260 posts. In 2010, we got almost that many messages per *week*... So, finally, my questions to you: Is the EV discussion list still useful to you? Should I keep it going? David Roden, EVDL moderator & general lackey To reach me, don't reply to this message; I won't get it.
