Hi All, If you are looking to create dozens of Google Docs (or another type of notes page without Google Docs) for an open space event quickly (and for free), you can do this on QiqoChat in under 10 minutes. This 5-min YouTube video <https://youtu.be/m33ZujaETgU> shows how it works.
On Qiqo you will create one notebook for your event which will list all the notes pages (for all sessions). Each notes page can have a Google Docs or you can use the default open source tool we provide called Etherpad. One big advantage of using Qiqo to get this done is that you can generate all the custom titles for your notes pages quickly as seen in the video. Example of tiles titles for notes pages: - Session 1, Room A - Session 1, Room B - Session 1, Room C - Session 2, Room A - Session 2, Room B - Session 2, Room C - ... Another helpful feature for in-person events is that each notes page has its own QR code so that if someone has it open on their laptop, the person next to them can use the QR code to open the notes page on their mobile phone. *Please note:* You will need a Qiqo Pro account (normally $11/month) and *the good news is* that everyone on the OS List can get Qiqo Pro for free with this link: https://qiqo.pro/start/openspace and you will get a customizable page like this one: https://qiqo.pro/example123 Qiqo Pro lets you create a "splash page" for your Zoom meeting where you can add a custom background image and also embed all the documents that you want participants to have access to. These splash pages provide similar functionality to Qiqo Events, and they are useful when you only need one Zoom meeting. When you want several Zoom meetings running in parallel for a large conference, that's where Qiqo Events can be helpful. You can embed a notebook (the tool mentioned in the first paragraph above) into Qiqo Pro or you can use a notebook on its own with your Zoom meeting. Here are some more videos about the functionality of Qiqo Pro <https://qiqochat.com/a/qiqo-pro-videos>. If you want to upgrade to Qiqo Pro Plus for unlimited meeting spaces and to remove "member of the open space community" from the top left, then you can upgrade for $11/month (reduced from $22/month). You'll also be able to use YouTube videos as backgrounds like this space: https://qiqo.pro/lucas Your feedback & suggestions are welcome!
