Géniale!! The ZERO comes precisely at the 40 second mark (camera dissolve on French Horn) and lasts exactly 5 seconds (I have heard some conductors make it last nearly 10 seconds: for ex. Leonard Bernstein) followed by the harpist's glissando. I can think of no more perfect illustration of the musical power of silence. The Zero thus maintains it's historical place of appearing AFTER one!!
