If you advocate such position (as the professor of philosophy you happen to
know), then you can't say *you* survive such duplication experiment
(because as you said, you the H-man is destroyed)... but John does not
advocate such position as he acknowledge he would survive and mistakenly
attribute after the fact probability (which is nonsense), as such his
position is inconsistent, also by the protocol the "you" is not ambiguous,
you is the everyday feeling of being you (and if it is ambiguous in the
experiment, then it is ambiguous in everyday life), and as it is meaningful
to ask in an everett world such a question, it is meaningful with
computationalism and duplication.
