Hi Brent, Have you seen any studies of the "Ameoba dubia <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polychaos_dubium>" that look into what their genome is expressing? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2933061/ seems to suggest to me the possibility that the genome is acting as a "brain"!
