So you think that humans have been evolved to perform emailing tasks? So what
precursor did emailing evolve from and from that what came before that it's
reasonable question. I could jump ahead an answer that what caused human beings
to write and what caused us to evolve to do writing? I do not as yet see the
cause-and-effect inherent in Darwinian evolution.

There's no evidence we've "missed" something. The human brain is much more
complicated
than any attempt we've made to replicate it. And if we did replicate it, it
would probably
be no more intelligent than a new born. Which means we'd not only have to
replicate the
learning functions but also the emotional factors which come as much from the
body as the
brain. And then we'd have to stimulate it and wait for it to learn.

?? What does "programmed" have to do with it. Presumably we evolved to do what
we do,
which is somewhat more vague than a program.
