When people criticise others' faiths, firstly it hurts others feeling making
the criticism fall on deaf ears. So even if they are right, they are unable to
get their point across and only breed ill-feelings. Secondly, many a times the
criticisers have little knowledge of what they are criticising, or they do not
understand, or they fudge facts to make their point.
I think it would be far more constructive and helpful if people could talk
about the correctness of their own faith rather than criticise others faith.
This would offer an alternative to think about and maybe come to believe in at
some point.
It would also be helpful to their own selves if, instead of criticising, they
asked questions about other faiths rather than making assertions.
