?? Shouldn't that be "more concrete"?

No it should not. The only things we have direct experience with, the only
things we know for sure and that are really concrete are sensations and
ideas about them; we may not know if the ideas are correct but at least we
know they are ideas, but the thing behind those sensations exists at a
deeper layer of abstraction. I can have ideas about the center of the sun
but am very unlikely to ever experience it, so it's more abstract. But
actually it's even worse than that.

The appearance of something is not the same as the thing, the thing itself
is far more abstract. The sound of broken glass is not broken glass, the
look of broken glass is not broken glass, the feel of broken glass is not
broken glass. What "IS" broken glass? I don't know exactly but whatever it
is unlike a sound or a feeling or a Image or a idea I don't have direct
experience with it, I can only theorize about the thing itself, and that
means it exists at a deeper layer of abstraction than thoughts or
sensations from the senses.

I don't see how you can ostensively define something that's abstract.
