Liz, while you are in the mood... I have a good maxim for freedom (don't claim absolute inventorship): when you are 'free' to do anything without infringing into the freedom of others. (Under the commis we formulated it differently: freedom means to feel free to do anything that had been allowed to do by the commi authorities). Yet I am in trouble with FREE SPEACH. I*dentifying it *will reduce its freedom. Not identifying, however, will lead to misuse. Beyond the classic "FIRE" in a theatre. It is hard to correlate it with the above ID John M of 'freedom'.
