I think some assume a superintelligence would act in the way intelligent
people are sometimes caricatured in popular culture: emotionless,
obsessional, valuing knowledge and certainty above all else. But an
intelligent person may act as unwisely as a stupid person, even if in full
knowledge of the consequences.
