Your reasoning seems good about environmental damage, but I feel that the tech being employed is not as robust, that is to say rugged as we need it. I would rather have supposedly safer, small scale uranium boxes everywhere, that need zero coolant, then what has so far been produced. The economics are beyond me, but it might have been way cheaper then gigawatt level output we have today. Solar can be rapidly replaced if damaged or vandalized. What's keeping solar from taking off is a lack of storage of electricity for nights, and winter. It will remain marginal until storage gets addressed. Sent from AOL Mobile Mail
