I couldn't figure this out on a quick search: do they also have supersisters / haplodiploidy? One problem I can see is that sharing genetic code to such an extent might make it harder to avoid local maxima in the fitness landscape, so less likely to progress to something akin to the level of complexity of the human brain. This intuition is confirmed by computer simulations, but of course real biology might present other nunaces that change the picture.
