There is the possibility of differentiation even if it doesn't occur. If you know you have been duplicated into 1000 red cubicles and 1 blue cubicle, identical on the inside, you would bet that if you opened the door your cubicle would be red.

Yes, but this is predicted too by the Y=II rule, as a differentiation will occur.

The more difficult case is when you re-fuse into one person, or if the red cubicles fuse.
