What we are talking about are subtle points in the interpretation of the
binomial distribution. Look it up on the web if you want to understand
where the N-factorial/M-factorial-squared comes from. It is the count of
the number of ways you can get equal numbers of zeros and ones in an
N(=2M)-bit string.
