Indeed. And then the notion of “this” and “that”, and “me” and “other” is made clear by the discovery of the indexicals in arithmetic. Indeed Gödel proved incompleteness by translation “I am not provable” in pure arithmetic. The basic idea being rather simple: if D(’x”) gives 'x(‘x’)’, D(‘D’) give ‘D(‘D’)’. The only difficulty is in using a special “quote” function, allowing some quote variable to be instantiated. Recursion Theory solves that problem easily.
