Neither religion, nor, ideology, satisfies me. But, science in pursuit of a specific goal does. If that goal is existential, Superb!

This is a paradox of sorts, for it God has truth because he conforms to it, this means he is not totally free and all powerful. If God defined or created truth then truth is not something valid in of itself. Religion sets up the psychology that truth does emerge from authority and power, and we should not be surprised to see that so many religious people favor authoritarian personalities in power.
