Exchange 2k3 Enterprise runs on Windows 2k Server. You need Advanced or Datacenter Server if you are using the /3GB feature if you are running over 1GB per box, or if you have Clustering implemented. If you use the Enterprise edition of Exchange simply for more and larger stores, then you don't need anything more than standard Windows 2000 Server.

Can you have 2003 AD child domain in a 2K Domain. So he can then use 2003 Exchange as the front end server and pick up the spam filters and the better OWA? And still have the email boxes on the 2000 servers.
