Does the name appear at the beginning or end of the GAL list? You may have a corrupt display name or some special character therein. When you enter the alias (SMTP address should also work) in Outlook and press Ctrl-K, what comes up underlined? Is it what you expect?

Most importantly, when I preview the GAL from the Exchange System Manager, her name is in the GAL, yet it doesn't show up for the end-user. This sounds like a permissions issue of sorts, but can someone give me a clue where to start on this? I haven't been able to detect any difference in this user's account from any other account (at least when looking at it within AD Users and Computers).
