I have a linux gateway mailscanner running on an old PII 450 with 256 mb ram handling heavy e-mail for around 100 users. The hardware cost next to nothing and the rest was free, although it did take me about 8 hours to get it all working. How much does the network box cost? I couldn't see prices on the site.
