See right now there isn't even a box with a red "x" on it. I don't see anything regarding that mailbox in question.

It should have a red X indicating that it is ready to be purged, if so right click it and select purge to blow it away. If you see the box, but there is no Red X check to make sure that you don't have a check in the "Do not permanently delete mailboxes..." on the Limits tab of your mailbox store.
