In the Windows world you are 'rude' for expecting people to phrase a proper technical question. Much like the educational system in the US we should respect and value the differences in others, even if the 'difference' is the others are lazy and/or ignorant. > > When you're ready for > > Exchange 2000 to > > handle the routing take a leap of faith and remove the IMS > > from your 5.5 > > box(es). There's no reason you'd need to keep the IMC in a mixed environment... I don't think. But just to clarify, since you don't have a shared GAL do you also have a disjointed namespace between sites/admin groups (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED])? Does your smarthost then handle the routing for the other sites as well as outbound internet e-mail? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
