Neil, We have one customer with such a setup and there were some issues with directory replication and permissions, I think. I know we had to go to MS PSS as well, but to be honest, this customer did their migration in all the wrong ways. Instead of getting it done in a timely manner (like less than a month) they chose, despite our efforts to convince them otherwise, to take almost 1.5 years to upgrade. Much of this was the result of our team not having control over the entire environment. Not a pretty migration when you have to deal with control freaks in seven different countries.
I will try to get more details if you want them. The Administrator who worked the migration from our team is not in yet. We are looking to use ADC to connect exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003 soon but one of the guys here has heard there are repercussions of migrating this way as there are problems when you try to go exchange 2003 alone? Apparently it was such a bad problem they had to go to Microsoft......wow that is bad. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
