Well, now you know what is happening.

Errors are typically searched via Event Id and Event Source. Use google/bing
and eventid.net.

I first created the users then added the exchange feautures. Nothing.
Then I created other users on the Exchange box adding the users at the same
time. Still nothing.

Then I researched and read about the RUS. I restarted the Exchange box, then
clicked update now and then rebuild on the RUS in ESM. Still nothing.
I will restart the Exchange box again in 1 hour and see.

Embarrassing fact: my brain immediately thought "oh, it's the RUS". But - it's
been so long - I couldn't remember what RUS stood for. I had to look it up.

Something is wrong with your Recipient Update Service. There are usually event
log messages that tell you what is going on.

Subject: [Exchange] Email addresses not added to new user

Hi
I have an Exchange 2003 SP2 server and 3 total domain controllers, with one in
a remote office. All domain controllers 2008R2 and above.
Yesterday, I created 3 new users but they have no email addresses. I have sent
emails to the new acccounts but they bounce.
What could be wrong?

Thanks.
