Doesn't that get run only when you first bring Exchange 2010 up? If so,
that predates me here by a few years I was simply going from E2K10 SP2 to
E2K10SP3.

I worked around it by disabling the account (both Exchange and AD) ,
applying SP3 and then re-enabling the Ad account - SP3 seems to
re-enable/recreate the Exchange attributes.

Did prepareSchema and prepareDomain work properly? When are you getting
the error?

Fighting Exchange 2010 SP3 upgrade I have this exact error:

Couldn't resolve the user or group "contoso.com/Microsoft Exchange
Security Groups/Discovery Management." If the user or group is a foreign
forest principal, you must have either a two-way trust or an outgoing
trust.

This site suggests mocing it, but in my case the move stays in "queued"
mode.

Other links suggest deleting and recreating the account. Anyone have any
suggestions other than deleting/recreating since this local move request
doesn't work for me?
