"Download update 949870 from the Microsoft Download Center.
Copy the update file that you downloaded to the "C:\windows\installer"
folder.
Rename the update file as "33502bc.msp."
Run the installation process again."

Steve, trying to reinstall or uninstall the patches gives em the same
errors as trying to do the SP3 update.
