Can you expand how you "open" it from the server? OWA? A MAPI Outlook
(97/98/2000/2002) client?

Are you running Exchange 5.5 Server with SP4? If so, did you apply the
lasted postSP4 hotfixes (especially the one for CDO 1.21)?
