I've put this back on the list because I prefer to keep my participation
there for the benefit of others.

You're right that a "forward" rule would be server-based.  You have to
unhide the public folder in the address book for it to show up as a
recipient.

Mistaken, but not in that way. I had read to get around this to use-forward
to fublic folder- not move to folder. But I cannot find such a command past
forward to contact/ recipient.
Although it seems moving to a public folder used to work on the client
machine.  thanks
