2 only applies to active-active clusters. 6 is not a drawback to clusters, just not a reason for them. But your other points are well taken.

For the money we spent on it, we could have gotten a regular server that would rock. I also have a standard server with Exchange 2K - and so far, the thing has been rock solid. I can show you What's up logs for the past six months showing 99.98% uptime.
