Hi, computer-savvy, technical-minded Expatniki. I have a Russian-purchased computer and licenced Russian Microsoft Windows (XP). In the past I could watch either Russian region or US region DVD discs by going into Windows Media Player and switching the region. The region chosen in that program determined the region for the other media programs I have. Only today I switched and then noticed that I have "used up my number of changes." That is, Windows Media Player lets you switch back and forth X number of times and then -- that's it. Since Windows Media Player seems to control the other media programs, I'm now locked in one region. (BTW, "0" was not an option for region -- you had to pick a country.)
Anyone solved this problem? Thanks
