Yes, I dloaded the oss drivers.. No luck.
Here's what happens.
When I do > rmmod sound I get "module sound not loaded"
Yet, I have partial sound.
With this if I try oss install I get:
*** Sound driver is already running - trying to unload it ***
It looks like the sound driver is linked in the kernal you are currenlty
executing.
You should configure recompile the kernal without the built in sound
driver and to reboot before trying to install
OSS/Linux again.
( I am now in the being_driven_crazy_mode on )!
