If you are running a Xserver already in another window, you can press
<CTRL>-<ALT>-<F1>.
This will bring you to a console login..
(You can use CTRL-ALT-F1..6)... You can use any one to login.
Now, again you type in the following
X -query <X-SERVER IP> :1
this will launch a SECOND X server
You can move back and forth between the two servers by CTRL-ALT-<F7> and
CTRL-ALT-<F8>
You are allowed to use up to :1.. :6... (Switchable by F6..F12)
I use this all the time at work..
BUT NOTE: Your Unix server needs to be running some kind of XDM (I have no
idea what the acronym stands for, but more or less a X session manager..)
