Okay not being a sendmail devotee my var/spool/mqueue is empty
Instead I have /var/spool/mail and /varspool/postfix.
Would removing the mqueue and having pine reinitialized it
work at all? Shooting in the murk here folks!

The active sendmail user who made the earlier comment re:postfix/sendmail
thread might be in a position to have better advice but what I have done
with nagging permission probs before and especially if you already have
the firewall setup is to chown 'user' /var/spool/mqueue and so forth.
Sometimes I have to work through the directory to track down the needed
permission fix but it has often worked for me anyhow.

Of course if you could point me to the reason my reply t:o on the expert
list is always saying [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of how everyone
elses shows up you would be helping me more than Ive helped you so far :)

all the mail I send myself has the right header sequence!? whether
receiving through netscape, kmail, etc. exccept to this List?

Good Luck
