    115k wasn't your connection speed. It's the speed that your modem 
communicates with your system, not the rate it communicates with the 
modem you connect to.  More often than not, when the phone lines will 
only support 28,8, an old 33,6 modem will consistently get better 
connection speeds (often 31,2) than most any 56k modem (often 26,4).
Put the 33,6 modem back in ;>
