I have come into this late, so I may be going over old news, but the
last line looks odd. If you are on Rogers Wave, your hostname should
look something like:
cr12345-a.pr1.on.wave.home.com
cd12345-a
is your individual computer name assigned by Rogers and
pr1.on.wave.home.com
is the subnet of Rogers network that you live on. DHCP will not work
with Rogers unless the DHCP server recognizes you machine name. It just
will not hand out an IP address. You might want to run draknet again and
put in the whole name in the third or forth screen.
BTW; I pinged 24.102.7.207 at about 16:04 EST Aug 30 /01 (20:04 UCT) and
you modem was not answering. If you would have expected it to be live at
4:00 pm that might be your problem.
