Hi Civileme,

I only have one Internet connection, so I shouldn't need to use
DrakProfile, right?

I do have a regular modem but it's turned off right now. It's an external
US Robotics 56K, which I don't use because I have the cable modem.

Again, Mandrake doesn't see my 56K modem because it's turned off. So
should I still take out the interfaces?

I have re-installed amny times. I always put in the infrmation I was
provided by the cable company whenever I was asked.

I have just finished installing the beta 2, and it appears that I can't
get as far with it as I did with M8.0. I just don't know what to do right
now.
