If you've seen a neat icon on your desktop refering to something called "mandrake control center" you should have already clicked on it. It has a strange feature that allows to QUICKLY share your internet connection. Maybe you've made your share on 7.2 the hard way, i've also done it on 7.1, but it seems to be easier on 8.1, you should check it up.
