No CVT. No two-stroke. Electric shift on the bike boxes is okay. Relatively tiny SIR to keep engines theoretically similar.
Rules weasel---sure you are not an Emod guy at heart? jim ----- Original Message ---- From: Chuck Voboril <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, June 21, 2006 11:26:29 PM Subject: [F500] F1000 Jim, The major shortsight in the F1000 rules is no CVT's. It wasn't clear if one could run a 2-stroke last time I looked, but probably not. Very myopic :-> The aero wording may never get completely sorted out in F1000 so that everyone has a clear idea of what they can do or not do. It actually never has been 100% clarified in DSR/CSR, either. That is the beauty of aero...the last frontier for the rugged experimenter and rule book weasel!
