This comment is dead on.  I'm willing to pony up some cash to help pay for
ads, but there needs to be a planned "PR campaign" in place befor ethe ads
go in.  The big thing in my eye is a way for someone who is interested to
get in touch with someone local to them (or as local as possible...)  Maybe
a web page with contact information for racers and soloists willing to talk
with a potential new recruit.
