Look for vacuum leaks at the carb rubber mounts. Carb to mount and mount to
barrel.

I'll look inot that.

Make sure the jet sizes and needle drops are equal. Float levels are OK and no ocassional sticking closed of float valve.

I've had the carbs rebuilt by the guy that builds drag race snow mobiles. He's looked inot my troubles, but he'd have to come with me to an event to see problems develop. Thing is, that these problems existed before the carb rebuild, I don't really think that is the problem. In any case, my mechanic has moved to Quebec to go to work for Bombardier racing division, so I don't have him to turn to.

There are othe more subtle things, like the crank throws being off from each other and consequently the ignition timing being off.

How do crank throws end up being off? Something getting done wrong in the rebuild process?

I just went out and rolled the engine over by hand, and I notice that it sounds like something has also come apart internally, and it does sound as if the crank throws could be off now. Maybe this has been a problem all along.

I guess I'll have to take the motor apart again. 8-(
