Precisely why I bought one. Cory hit hard enough to shear off a side pod and associated tubing, radiator, destroy a wheel or two, bend the rear axle, etc., etc...... Hit nearly head-on the left side moving fast.
Cory was fine. I've recovered form many head injuries by way of rolling pin and skillet but I think I'm still sore from that hit. That convinced Marilyn buy one as my insurance is not good enough to support her lifestyle. I would add that getting ourselves repaired and racing was a tribute to Don Hanley of Red Devil and all the great folks in the F500 community that lent support, in so many ways.!
