The Kaw 440 has been out of production for at least 24 years now and the
parts are still plentiful and cheap. But that might change in the next
decade.
Never can tell, but you ought to start now on a 494 replacement in case your
great grandchilden want to run your old chassis and can't find the right
sparkplugs for the 494 in it :->
